About a month ago we went on a hike with Leanne, Matthew, Joshua, Devin, Christian, Connor, and myself. It was a lot of fun. Here are the pictures from that hike. The pictures were taken by Leanne, Matthew and myself. No, I can't tell who took which pictures, by I hope you enjoy these.
I though this was a great picture
This mossy stuff was really interesting, it looked just like snake skin.
These ferns were also everywhere.....
......like this.....
OK, I have to say this is my favorite picture...I love the shadowing of this picture.
Pretty white flowers....
Joshua had a blast on this walk. I have to say that Joshua is the most energetic 5 year old I have ever know. He made it the whole way, all the way up to the last 10 minutes of it. But most of us were tired by then, so I still think he was amazing.
There was a beaver that lived around there because this could not have been more then a day old
This was so cool looking, it looked like snow behind that flower but really it was just the rock. With the moss it all looked so great. Not the best picture, but is gives you the idea as to what it looked like. This was across the river from us and the shadow under the bush was so dark it was just really cool looking.Half wave, half don't take my picture, but I thought is was a funny shot with our coffees and all. :)There was great water picture opportunity all over the place. And we had a lot of fun with them.
Cute little wood bridge.
Connor
Just walking....
When we first found this frog we thought it was half grown and that was why it still had it's tail. But then I was doing some research on northwest frogs and found out that this frog is full grown and that they just have tails all the time. I did not know there was frog out there that did that. Is it not amazing all the many kinds of creature our Lord has made? :)
We were trying to get a group shot....
....It was not easy to find a place to put the camera on that was safe and high enough for the picture...
....We almost had it good enough, but not great....
.....When a couple came by and offered to take the picture for us. :) They were the only other people we saw on the hike the whole time. True, we were off trail most of the time, but even so, we were very pleased with the timing and the picture.
The waterfall, we could not get to the top or the bottom of it.....sniff :*(
Again we had a lot of fun with the water pictures.... :)
Things you do to get a good picture.... :)
See......
But I do like how the pictures turned out...
And then Leanne took some pictures of me. I have to say it was not my favorite thing to do, being the one in the picture, but here they are anyway.
We also got these pictures from the top of the rock...
I'm not sure where we got these next ones, we took pictures all along that way
Devin :)
Christian :)
An almost group shot....
We had so much fun....
The bubbles in the water were really cool looking, but hard to get a good picture of....
Yes, we did take coffee with us on our hike. :)
OK, maybe a little to much coffee.... :) LOL
:)
I love this picture, the shadowing in this picture is so amazing
Leanne got this picture, again the shadowing is amazing
OK, I have tried and tried to get this picture to go right side up, but I could not for the life of me. But it is a really cool picture if you look at it up side down, we are not sure how the fog got in the picture because there was not fog anywhere that day....? but we don't care it's a great picture. :)
Moss in the water....
.....flower above the moss...
....even better picture of the moss in the water
Dewy mushroom...
Over grown fern trail.....
Matthew's snake
Really good picture, even if I don't like snakes
There was bits and pieces of a car in the river all over. Here is one piece that was stuck in the bottom of the river
After our hike we went to a fish hatchery....
The fish were jumping all over, it was fun to try and get pictures of them
They were so big, we were all talking about how good they would taste :)
This is a good shot
Anyway that is all the pictures, I hope you enjoyed them.
