Mother Hen....
Did you know that (most time) when you put an egg next to a hen that is setting on other eggs she will pull it under her to keep it warm. I got pictures of it. It really is kind of cool.....
Sometimes you have grumpy hens, too, when they are broody like that. We don't have a rooster anymore, so we have to take the eggs out from under her, or else they'll go bad. And we'd much rather prefer to eat them... so the hen doesn't really like us then. :)

Hens are pretty clever! I don't think I could ever be that coordinated.
