Our Mighty Storm

On Monday night we got a piece of the big storm that was going through Washington, or at lest our part of Washington any way. It lasted from sun down to about 10:30 or 11 pm. I was really really windy and here is the pictures of the after mass.... A tree that came down right between the tree house and the arbor, dads truck was right in front out the arbor so we were so blessed that the Lord spared our house all our other buildings and all the cars... A cute boy saying hi!!!!! This one was really scary it was 135 ft tall, and it was only 25 ft from the house!! :(
Thankfully it went away from the house and so it just took down some trees and gave us fire wood for next winter..... :) The roots....The tree standing right in front of the roots....Looking at the top of the roots were all the plants that are still growing on top......The top of the tree.....Standing on the road this is all you can see of the tree but again it is 135 ft tall so it really went a long way.....A tree that was half taken out.....The road.... not easy to get in and out of for sure......Another tree that came down.....And it's roots.....And another tree....And another.....And one more.....
Yes we have 6 trees down that are close within our little area, so if all go's well we will have more then enough fire wood for next winter

Lydias First snow.....

This is Lydia's first snow and she was so excited about it. :) We took her out for about two minutes and the first thing she did was raised both arms over her head and then try to get the snowflakes. It was so cute, but I did not have my camera at that point so I was not able to get that picture. :( :(

Kids in snow.......

Do you all remember how exciting it was when you woke up to the first good snow of the year. Every thing was soft, white, and quite. It was so beautiful, but to tell the truth you did not care all that much about how beautiful it was, all you wanted to do was get out there and make a big snow ball and through it at the first person you see, or to make a giant snow man, or even snow angles. That is what snow is all about right?? Well for two 8 year old, a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and a 2 year old that is sure what it is all about. And at 6: 30 am that is what they were begging me to let them go do, I did make then what until 7:30 and it took a half an hour to get them all ready but we were all out there at 8 am. We were back in with in 15 minutes but none the less it was a lot of fun to take them out. Here are the picture I took..... Cute hat..... :)
